    Price Check on a 1/1

Having problems with trying to sell/trade this card. I think I've foolishly rejected many offers because I've overestimated the value of my Tomas Plekanec 1/1 from this year's Black Diamond. Anyone got a rough idea of the value of this? I've seen a Brendan Morrow go for 30, but a Ryan Smyth go for a 100...all very confusing...returning to the hobby only a month ago doesn't help much either...

    Thanks SCF!

Pleks is a really good player for the Habs but has never got a lot of hobby love, despite being a talent developed through the organization and being one of the most consistently good players for years now. If you've got an idea in mind but can be flexible with it, sometimes just waiting for the right offer is all you need to do. You may have to wait a bit longer than you'd really like to move the card, but once that deal comes you'll end up being pretty happy.

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Have talked with the owner here on this card, I estimated maybe a 70-80$ sale value. Hobby love isnt there for Plekanec, but it is there for Habs fans, so being a Habs card you would get more than 30 but i really doubt u will break that 100 mark as a Habs collector isnt going to go too crazy for Plekanec.

I think a fair solid number for both the seller and buyer is roughly $50-60. Hope you get what you want. Cheers

+1, was thinking in the $50 range myself.

1/1s like that are tough. In an auction - you never know. If two people want it bad enough.... they can get a nice price. I would expect you'd have a hard time hitting $100 for it - but all you need is two guys that really want it. Never know.

I would agree with the 50 to 60 dollar range unless u get 2 people who really want it during an auction!
