why dont they do upper deck ice any more?

I no they have the bonus packs in the black diamond but i really don't want to spend money on that box just for one pack that may or may not have a good hit.

Does anyone no why they stoped and if they will do the boxes again ???

After the new licensing agreement came into effect, UD had to drop the number of products they could produce from 22 to 11. As such, a number of popular products fell under the axe.

My guess is that it was a mid range product that had some competition with BD and UD1 along with others. And I'm pretty sure Ice was probably a little more pricy to make with the acetate cards. I loved them and miss them too, the Patch Auto /10 Rookies were always a top 5 set of the year.

Shame they have crap sets like spx or black diamond instead of ice that was really the best midend product with artifacts.

To me it would be because too many products then not so much demand for cards. You cut down what is available then you have more demand for what is available. Plus I've always thought there was too many products out there.

I was always a bigger fan of Ice than Black Diamond...should have gone the other way around.
