Barry Sanders Auto
What's deal with this site and card? $4.55 for a PSA certified Barry Sanders autographed rookie card? Is this a scam or is there a catch?

Wouldn't touch it with a 10ft pole.

I haven't compared it to a certified...but maybe the wrong price was posted??? It looks like someone offered $40 at one point towards the bottom of the screen. Who knows....

I own quite a few Barry auto's and have looked at thousands of them over the years and I can safely say that is not an authentic autograph. If you just compare that photo to other numbered auto cards on ebay it is pretty easy to see the difference. As others have suggested I would stay far away from that card and that seller.

The signature looks like it could be how Barry signed earlier in his career, but I don't think an authentic Barry autograph would be going for $4.55.

Not like this makes it authentic- but as I'm sure you already checked on PSA DNA's authentication site:
Item: 1989 PRO SET 494 BARRY SANDERS
Primary Subject: BARRY SANDERS
Result/Grade: Authentic

Yeah I looked on that site and saw a whole bunch of cards below market prices. I don't want to throw my hard earned money away on fake autos.

I've used the site to get my tennis rackets for college and some oakley shades and I never had a problem with the site

Think about this...authentication would cost well over $5, let alone the slabbing fee. If this person were smart, they should have had a more competitive (meaning closer to market price) selling price..would make this more believable.
