    Arena card giveaways

    I went to the Caps/Canadians game last night and was suprised with a free Panini Capitals team set. Bonus card from the team store was a new Ovechkin card, released under the Pinnacle brand, but new numbering and new card photo, different from the 11-12 base card.

    I was wondering if anyone knew a schedule of when the arena card giveaways were this year? Is Upper Deck doing one as well?

    Best bet is to check on individual team sites to see if they have any information posted. You may also want to check with UD/Panini on their Facebook and/or Twitter page to see what they have planned. Because they're all local promotions they don't get a lot of general advertisement.

    Blues just gave away a team set, it was broken up over 4 games though. I think it was like 4 cards each game

    I have like 6 of the Islanders sets they gave out. Only 1 Tavares card to complete the set though. If anyones interested in 1, i'd swap an Isles without Tavares for another team.
