Big name store blaster box question

Are the blaster boxes sold at WalMart, Target, Meijer etc worth buying? I have bought a few and havent pulled anything even close to decent at all. Just wondering if I'm just blowing my money or if theyre worth the 20 bucks

Normally its like you're blowing money. I never get anything from them, ever. Even the guarenteed hit ones are 99% of the time a $1.00 plain white piece of jersey

Certain boxes are better than others... For instance... I have bought probably 30 of the 09-10 Upper Deck blasters and pulled several Jordan GU cards and some nice HOFers GU in it... Plus several autos and a ton of good rookies (Blake, Lawson, Hansbrough, etc...)

Go for 09-10 UD, they guarantee you 1 jersey card, usually very nice. Also, they probably have some older ones discounted to $11.98.

The blaster boxes work fine for me because I collect a lot of low end product and use the bases for IP/TTM autos. I may get a certified auto and/or a jersey and that's just icing on the cake.

Topps has the best blasters out there. I have pulled some great autos out of their basketball and football blasters. Unfortunately Topps doesn't do basketball anymore.
