    Weird Return Day:

Here's the HANDWRITTEN letter Tommy John sent me to tell me he charges $15 per card to sign. Thanks for taking the (FAIL!) time.

I also got a fail letter from Jerry Koosman telling me he signs for $10 for "The Indigent" but doesn't name any specific charity. The only thing I know about Jerry Koosman is that at some point in his nothing career he wore a Phillies uniform.

I also got an RTS from Mickey Morandini. I'm starting to not mind RTS because at least I get one stamp back for another player.

    The Goods:
    Dan Schatzeder x3
    Jeff Calhoun x3

Ridiculous RTS', but awesome returns too. Been meaning to send to Schatzeder, he has a nice sig. Congrats!

Yeah its was a bitter sweet day. I was pulling for that Tommy John to come through. I think I'm done sending to older players. The rate of RTS and wanting fees is too high.. Atleast with most current players you know its a good address and a 50/50 shot each time.

Supposedly John's ex-wife is the one sending the notes. Someone asked him about it a few months back and he said he has not been to the NC address in a few years and his ex-wife lives there so she would be the one signing the cards and requesting the money.

That's hilarious, and is also the reason I don't pay for any autographs.

To me this note is a collectors item, and a funny story when I share my collection with people.
