Fun Break! 1996 Leaf Signature

So I've been wanting to break a box of these for a long time. 96 Leaf Signature is famous for being the first major league set (that I am aware of) to have an auto-per-pack. I did not buy an entire box, I purchased 10 packs on ebay about $14 each.

The nice thing about this set is that I am a child whose first exposure to baseball was the Triple Play games of the 90's and the mid 90's red sox. This set is RIGHT UP my alley.

The less nice thing about this set is that the BVs on the cards are pretty minimal since there were so many signed.

I have to say, this is one of my most fun breaks of all time.

I'm actually going to go in reverse order here and save the best for last... the best was actually the first I broke.


Here is the first four. A few of these packs had two autos/pack. None spectacular in the first four.


Here are the next 8, and the beginning of the meaty ones! Totally pumped about the Greenwell, Suppan, and Jefferson.

It may not be the most valuable card in the set but he's one of my all time favorite players. Scan doesn't do it justice!

Anyway, I hope to break another 10 of these soon. I'm going to have to start selling stuff to make way for these ;)
