So. Here goes my first rant on these boards.

I make a trade over YouTube. We send the cards on the same day, the guy gets his card 2 weeks ago, and I still haven't received mine yet. What the hell. It takes 3 weeks for a package from New Brunswick to arrive to B.C. Yeah, it's across the country, but 3 weeks?! Give me a break.

And now...the grand finale. My cards are stolen. What. The. F-I mean, HELL. But for some odd reason they leave my Toews Private Signings alone and untouched, but take two rookie cards, the notable one being a Marcus Kruger Ice Rookie. Why? Why?! Canada Post come ON. A company operated by the CANADIAN GOVERNMENT no less should not have such mediocre service. You get all the funds you need from our leaders and yet you still manage to screw up not just once, but multiple times in a short period of time.

And to whoever took the cards. Thanks for making a guy who just got back into the hobby disappointed with it. You may not have taken the most rare cards, but just the fact that you went through the trouble of ripping up the package and re-sealing it to take two low-valued cards (well highly valued for myself, I could use every card I get, I pay good money for god's sake) pisses me off.

Thanks Canada Post and thank you...[insert profanity and/or derogatory insult here] person. Oh, and thanks for reading this guys!

Last thing, just out of curiosity. Have any of you guys had to deal with stolen cards?

It probably doesn't help that the sender has "Box Rippers" on the return address label, but still no excuse.

That Mullen has been colored by somebody, why would somebody at Canada Post or Canada Customs do that? They'd simply steal it all.

I agree with this statement if someone was going to steal 1 they'd steal all I'd say sender didn't put the other cards in the package

This has happened only once to me, the person who sold it to me was great and it was not at all their fault. I received an open bubble mailer with 5 cards in it when there should have been around 12, and they were all Crosbys.. which I still need.. it really pissed me off so I know how you feel.

I agree with this too, i had a package tampered with a few weeks ago and both cards were stolen out of it. If someone is enough of a jerk to steal some cards out of a package then they certainly wouldn't bother to leave some in there.

It definitely is strange in regards to what was stolen. As for the blue stuff on the card, I figured out it's just the design of the card (I'm pretty sure it is, saw a picture of the same card on Ebay with the exact same blue stuff). The package came from the website BoxRippers, a group break site (you know, like CnC) so it is a trustworthy sender.

I'm sorry I don't agree with your assessment. I've heard multiple horror stories about the "group box break" clubs that are overtaking the bay searches for any hockey cards. One of them was a person who had won a few items. When they received the package, the package was clearly cut open and a couple of their items were missing. When they contacted the seller, the seller told them they had reopened the package to remove cards they thought they had mispackaged (but were supposed to be sent as it turned out).....and then resealed the envelope with packing tape along the sides and sent out. This looks eerily similar. Plus, if somebody at Canada Post was going to rip off a package or its contents......I don't think they could do it too stealthily by cutting nicely along all sides of the envelope and then resealing as it was done...........PLUS.....this BOX RIPPERS business, should not display the contents of the packages they send by so unnecessarily advertising their name on the envelopes. That is only screaming "rip me off" to any scumbags these packages happen to pass in front of.........I'd be questioning the source of the shipment as well.....
