    difference between two costs

I am shipping a nice card to Canada (sold for about $100). I can't ship UPS because the receiver will be hit with those courier fees. I saw First Class International but I would prefer a higher service. I bumped up to Priority Mail USPS International but its $22! I am using ebays shipping labels.

what would you do? go with first class or priority? any other options? i want some more security to ensure the package gets there but one that doesn't strain my pocket and profit.

    thanks in advance

I am interested in this as well. Also, what if you are sending a high value item and state as such on the customs form? The recipient gets hit with duty feeds, correct? What is you state $10 and something happens to the cards? You lose out I assume.

Sorry for the hijack by the way!
