Trade ship time-do some not follow the rules?
I have 87 feedback so obviously not a MSF trader. I just made a deal with a 62 feedback trader. This was back on 2/26. I sent mine on 2/27. He is just marking my part of the deal sent today 3/7. What is that? Do some people seriously not send until they get their end of the deal?
I was under the impression that appropriate ship times was within 3 days of the deal being confirmed unless it is a MSF.
If I'm not mistaken if dealing with a MSF you wait til you get your end then ship?
Well why do some people feel the need to not follow the rules?

I PM'd and asked and he said he wasn't going to lie and he forgot about the trade til he saw my half in the mailbox. Believable I don't know. Still not happy when I follow procedure. Now I get to wait another week or so from Canada.

Amen to that. I bought a deal for $400+ from a person on here and it didn't get shipped until an entire week later, and only after I PM'ed them wondering where it was, and got the "oops, I totally forgot to send that out".

If you receive your end leave the appropriate feedback. In cases like this ere and on ebay I would usually leave positive feedback but in the feedback description something like waited to receive my end before sending etc...

It is common courtesy to let them know if ur not able to send it in a timely manner.
i know i have gotten busy at work and thankfully the members have understood, when i tell them the exact date i can mail it out. but its almost always next day or if not the day right after.

SCF says you have 3 days to ship your side of the trade or deal out.

Due To Rules Violations
I try real hard to get mine out the same day as the trade or the following but the last yr or so I have dealt with lots of medical issues and it has kept me from doing so. but I have always told the trader up front incase there would be a problem and most people are really cool as long as they know up front aout a possible delay.

Ah got another one, I just receive a PM that the other guy got my stuff. Our deal was agreed upon last week 3/6. I sent but had my stuff returned because of a USPS issue. I even had let him know that I would get them back out ASAP and they went out on Friday I think it was.
In his PM he tells me he has some dental issues and a whole thing about that. And he'll put my stuff out this weekend. Like seriously. No offense, but your telling me about this now? To me it almost seems like he was waiting for my stuff to come in for him before he was to send. He has lots of good feedback but come on.

Unless there is something beyond my control I strive to have everyone's items shipped no later than the next business day. If we can come to an agreement early enough I can ship it out same day schedule permitting. I have even told some traders to post the trade but I will not accept for a few days until I am ready to mail. They were cool with it and they knew once accepted their items would be in the mail no later than the next business day.
Drug and smoke free trading.
