Holy Upper Deck
Believe it or not I called the UD customer service 1 800 number and actually got threw to them. Trying to get a 11/12 series 2 signed replaced as it was damaged badly right out of the pack. The replacement division is in Morrisville NC. I thought it was in Californinia. Who cares though as they answered the phone. Actuall the guy was real nice to deal with.

They said the would replace it with another of the same player or one of equal value. I dont collect signed cards, didnt tell him that. But I said I only collect high end signature cards. His reply was, no problem.
We shall see.

Maybe I will get a higher end card.

But you don't deserve one. You didn't pull a damaged Gretzky/Roy/Howe/Lemieux etc. auto out of pack, so why should they give you one in return?
Maybe this is why they aren't answering your calls.

Yeah you should really only get what is due to you, not try to get anymore. But if they know the damaged card they should replace it with a comparative item.

Toying with Karma is risky business...but it all depends what you get back...i highly doubt you'll get a Gretzky or Howe or someone like that...more power too ya though if you do

I just went through a replacement this week (well last year but got it this week)
For a Thomas McCollum Future Watch Auto which sell in the 40-60 range typically.
I got a Pavel Datsyuk Ultimate Signature which I put on ebay and got 75. Not a bad replacement
