Should Dwight Howard Leave or Stay?

Personally i would LOVE to see Dwight leave Orlando, im from Orlando and i cant stand the Magic. Dwight needs to go somewhere were he can win it all and its not gonna be with the magic.

I'm all for these superstars actually staying with their team and trying to win a championship....but they all want the easy road out now with their 'superteams'.

The superteam concept is nothing new. Look at the Bulls during the 1990s with their HOFers Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, the Lakers from the 1980s Magic, Kareem, Worthy, Macadoo or the 80's Celts Bird, Parish, McHale, Dennis Johnson. The ball players have to do what's right for them and their families. If Dwight feels that he would have a better opportunity in Brooklyn or Dallas then more power to him.

The difference between those teams and the teams today are that those teams were built mainly through the draft. They didn't have stars with big egos demanding trades or wanting out of their respective teams.

Gotta second that. Seems like that's the popular parallel that is being used but the majority of what we called superteams were players that were home-grown. Now it's the microwave method to building teams.

I think Dwight wants out so he should definitely move on. His grumblings have already damaged this team over the years. Every time he complains, they bend over to give him new players. The Magic should accept the inevitable and get what they can for him.

I think they should trade him, this has been a lingering topic all year and i actually praise the Magic coaching staff for not letting it effect their play. These superstars need to realize that playing GM and wanting to create these super teams can be a big risk. Teams like the Heat and Clippers worked because all the players are able to put their egos aside and just want to win. Look at the Knicks, seems like they had hit a stride, now Melo returns and have lost 6 straight.

dwight only wants to be like a gm for the team b/c his gm otis smith will not listen to him, he's told him for the last 2 years the team needs more quality players to be a title contender again and otis smith has done nothing in 2 years about this and now with 2 days left until the deadline is over he wants to do something now.
