    Question On Grading! Please Help!

Ok, so Ive been thinking of sending in my SPX 05 Jason Campbell Auto 8/25 for grading, but the jersey on it has like a bulge. Will that affect the grade it recieves? Thanks for any help. Otherwise the card, is a gem 10.

Where's the bulge? On the back? If it's the normal sized bulge it's alright. Upper deck always has that bulge with their jersey cards.

If it's nice a square and only like a millimeter high then it's normal. If it's shaped oddly or the bulge is bigger then something's not right with it and it would take away from the grade.

If it's a flaw in the way it was set in the card, then yes...surface will get the deduct. If looking for investment, Send it in Min. BGS 9.5...Or do not holder. Otherwise let them encapsulate at a min 9.

Ya, im looking for investment, Its not the actual card. Its the jersey piece on it. Its a raised piece of jersey in the X part where the jersey is held.

Anyone have any idea? Will this affect grading because of the raised piece of jersey? It almost seems and feels like something is underneath the jersey swatch embedded into the card.

The safest I can suggest is submit with Min grade. Other than that No-one can say with any certainty what Bgs will decide ;)

    goodLuck.

Thanks for the Help. I may just call Upper Deck and see what they think. But judging by how bad theyve been with helping me, im not sure. I got 3 cards I sent in for replacing back, said couldnt and gave me 3 packs. I called, guy said hed send me 2 boxes of cards. Been 2 months, nothing. So im not sure.
