    should i say in my letter, "i know you are very busy, so if you can't sign that is okay" or " i know you probably get many requests so if you dont have time that is okay"

    It's not going to make a difference. If they don't have time to go through their requests, why would they be reading your letter? They're either going to sign or not; that line doesn't make a difference.
