limited logo question?

As most of you know i am chasing the 08-09 set and am always looking to upgrade. however lets say i have 3-4 color swatch for some players. Is the reebok patch considered a more prime patch or more of "the one to have?" i have quite a few of them now. as far as a display of the collection goes would a more colorful patch be more appealing to most? opinions?

hmm, good question. i personally would rather have something that i can identify - like a reebok logo, letters, recognizable image, over more colors.

I definitely would rather have the reebok logo than just a 3 color swatch where it may not be easy to know where it is from. It also makes it more appealing, in my opinion, since the RBK patches aren't around any more.

I'm personally not much of a fan of the Reebok logos.

I collect cards for the hockey teams and their logos, not the hockey manufacturer.

Still, some people consider it like the "tag" and the "OMG, gotta have it" piece. One nice but for the limited logos, I'd prefer killer looking logo parts.

i'm not a fan of the reebok logo at all. Sure you know exactly where on the jersey its from. But they are only 2 colors, with very little going for it design wise. i would rather have a flashy patch over them any day.

I would say to me it would hands down a sweet 3 , 4 or more color patch over a Reebok patch but that is just my opinion.

You know i have some very sweet limited logos patches and would never consider a Reebok patch as qualifying to be in any of my limited logos set if i could get a better team logo patch.

Id also go with the Logo Patches or Shoulder Patches whenever I could find them.

Number / Nameplate patches .... because of the amount of color and breaks are also above the Reebok patches for me

To clarify my previous post, I would rather have the RBK logo than like a 3 color number swatch (especially if most is white), however if it was from the emblem (say a Hawks feathers swatch I'd take that any day over the RBK logo.

the blackhawks are a great example. A really nice +4 color patch would be a much nicer piece. However some of the teams logos and choice of patches in the set leave me with a better option to have the reebok logo. This is probably a set that i will never stop chasing...
