Where's this patch from?
This Tyler Bozak card has shown up on eBay:

The colours obviously make me question where is it from. Could the wrong player's jersey have been used? Is there something on the photoshoot jersey that looks like this? Any help would be welcome.

It's UD, so it's always possible that the wrong jersey could have been used.
It would be easier to figure out if we knew what they claimed the source of the fabric to be.
It doesn't look like anything that would have been on Marlies, Grizzlies, or Pioneers uniforms, but it could still be from a different BCHL, WHCA, or AHL event, a photo shoot like you suggest, or any other event.
I don't know what UD's policy is when it comes to source jerseys. If 'least expensive' is up for consideration then it could be anything.

I was either thinking youngsters game or rookie game... a lot of times for rookie seasons its just "event" worn, meaning they basically put on a jersey for a photoshoot then take it off... Good question though

Could be from his BCHL days.. when he first played for Victoria they were called the Victoria Salsa before they changed to the Grizzlies.
Pretty sure they Salsa had other variations but here's one example of their jersey. Granted I highly doubt UD went through that much trouble to acquire one.
