    Is this really a 1/1?

    I saw this auction recently:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/05-06-SPX-SI...item35ba7c74c3

I'm just wondering if this happened with other copies of the Whitney, or whether this one is truly unique. Not that interested in the card, just in whether this was common.

considering the process, or what I assume to the process of putting stickers on cards, you would think there is more than 1 in existence. stickers keep going on until someone realizes the mistake, and changes the page of auto stickers going on the card.

Do players sign as many stickers as there are cards, or do they sign extras?

If there are only enough for the cards, wouldn't they be one sticker short when doing the Crosby cards?

No, that's called an error card. But if you want to sell it on ebay you call it a 1/1...

    Oops!

I think I've seen one like this before. Not sure if it's the same card or if a couple others have gotten out there. Brutal error.

Indeed, same copy of the card has been out before: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=270903646988

Looks like the new owner is trying to flip it now that Crosby's back.
