When redemptions go missing?
Just curious if anyone has run into this -
Panini sent out a package to me to fill three redemptions. The package was processed at a plant in Texas on February 14th, but has yet to make it here. I know there's always the off-chance that it's hung up in Customs or something, but given mail times recently it seems likely to be lost.
I'm wondering, what happens if the package indeed never makes it here? These aren't high-end cards, but would Panini compensate me or am I just out of luck?

Check the DC/tracking number that they give you with all shipped redemptions. Should be right on your profile page. Does it say anything there?
Hope it shows up for you, my friend.

There are three separate tracking numbers, one for each redemption - each of them shows processing Texas on the 14th of February, and nothing since. It seems very odd. I could understand one of them being hung up, but to see it happen with all three seems unlikely. I just can't think of an explanation.
At least it's happening with mid-end stuff, and not the Oilers Pen Pals Triple Auto.

I'm guessing they just use a regular DC number on the packages. You usually don't get regular(or any) status updates from those once they get near the border. I had the same Problem with tracking info with a Panini redemption last month.

You are probably correct......I guess there's nothing I can do but wait, it just seems like a long time.

I am still waiting from 01-02 on the SPx Rookie Redemption. I sent in 2 cards, Rick Nash and Shawn Thornton.
I have still not received the Thornton. It's been over 10 years and it was the last SPx box I ever bought. I sent UD a registered letter telling them that I was now talking with my wallet and that they were never getting anymore of my Hobby Box business.
I have been a complete Pacific fan since that letter and I have not bought one Hobby Box produced by Upper Deck.
BTW: I did not receive a reply or a telephone call to my registered letter. When my redemptions were sent in, they required a return signature from Upper Deck, which I got back from the Post Office. Hobbyists are now just finding out how corrupt UD is, I've known for over 10 years.

Just for kicks, I checked the tracking info just now for the card I redeemed and received. The most recent update still says departed from Coppell Texas on February 14th haha. So basically, the tracking number is useless except for the fact that it confirms that Panini sent it.
