05-06 Topps First Edition
In the book it says they are worth more. Are they??

Yes, I think every year there is a multiplier factor on these cards. They are short printed compared to the normal cards. I think it's just a gold stamped logo on the card (not serial #'ed though).

Well you can buy a box of first edition. The First Edition box is cheaper than the normal cards. It only comes with base cards and rookies.

Sorry. Maybe I'm confused. I thought you were talking about the "1st Edition" parallel of a regular Topps set. I think I am confused then.
If you are talking about the parallel, I've never heard of a box of just parallel cards. That would be neat.

they are not parallels, 1-2 boxes are given to card shops .
and they are just like a box of regular topps except they've got the little stamp in the corner and you cant get anything out of the boxes besides base and rookies.
but beckett does say they are worth 1.2X regular topps.
