No More UD Victory! Hello 2012-2013 OPC?
**If I am violating anything here please do lock the thread****
So I was trying to find a checklist for a WWE wrestling product when I stumbled across an early look for 12-13 OPC:

Quite interesting to say! Wonder if the price per pack/box will be the same?
Interested to hear everyones thoughts!

Not plussed or bothered by whatever Upper Deck does. I have not been a bonafide customer since they ripped me off by never sending me a 01-02 SPx Redemption, then again several times trying to send me a common UD Jersey in place of a destroyed stars jerseys #/150 or less.
They can conveniently go out of business as far as I'm concerned.
No Victory cards will simply allow them to release another issue at outrageous retail prices and offer no value to consumers once again. Something they specialize in.

No Victory is a good thing. The one place Panini far and away succeeded is giving us a product at the price point of Victory with an OPC-like set when they brought back Score. Score makes Victory completely obsolete.

While I agree that getting rid of Victory isn't a bad thing, I am disappointed that O-Pee-Chee is becoming a more low end product than it was before. I am sad to see the Signatures go from every team to just Team Canada, and I am really not a fan of manufactured patches.

There's enough autos in every other product from the last 10 years that I won't miss 'em from OPC. The stickers and the pop-ups are a blast from the past tho. OPC has never been about anything other than fun for me!!

OPC has always been about fun for everyone. UD is smart to cut Vic and focus on OPC. OPC can compete with Score, Victory can't even compete with itself.

That is one ugly design.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

True, but again, still better than any Victory design.

i didn't mind Victory, it was a decent cheap product. That being said, Score has much better value and blows it away (obviously) so we no longer need victory. Not liking this OPC design at all
