Health Care - Must read!
First of all, this is not an Obama bashing, but something every American citizen should be aware of. Please read!
,FINALLY SOMEONE ASKED HIM THE QUESTION!
ON "ABC-TV" DURING THE "NETWORK SPECIAL ON HEALTH CARE"..... OBAMA WAS ASKED:
"MR. PRESIDENT WILL YOU AND YOUR FAMILY GIVE UP YOUR CURRENT HEALTH CARE PROGRAM
AND JOIN THE NEW 'UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE PROGRAM' THAT THE REST OF US WILL BE ON ????"
THERE WAS A STONEY SILENCE AS OBAMA IGNORED THE QUESTION AND CHOSE NOT TO ANSWER IT !!!
IN ADDITION, A NUMBER OF SENATORS WERE ASKED THE SAME QUESTION AND THEIR RESPONSE WAS."WE WILL THINK ABOUT IT."
AND THEY DID. IT WAS ANNOUNCED TODAY ON THE NEWS THAT THE "KENNEDY HEALTH CARE BILL" WAS WRITTEN INTO THE NEW HEALTH CARE REFORM INITIATIVE ENSURING THAT THAT CONGRESS WILL BE 100% EXEMPT !
SO, THIS GREAT NEW HEALTH CARE PLAN THAT IS GOOD FOR YOU AND I... IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR OBAMA, HIS FAMILY OR CONGRESS...??
WE (THE AMERICAN PUBLIC) NEED TO STOP THIS PROPOSED DEBACLE ASAP !!!! THIS IS TOTALLY WRONG !!!!!
PERSONALLY, I CAN ONLY ACCEPT A UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE OVERHAUL THAT EXTENDS TO EVERYONE... NOT JUST US LOWLY CITIZENS.... WHILE THE WASHINGTON "ELITE" KEEP RIGHT ON WITH THEIR GOLD-PLATED HEALTH CARE COVERAGES.
If you don't pass this around, may you enjoy his Plan!

Imagine what we could do if everybody passed this around

Where is the logic in expecting someone to give up a better plan than the plan being offered to those that can't afford any plan? That's just plain absurd.

This is straight across the board health care for everybody. If we are expected to take it without a choice then so should the idiots in Washington.

You're not expected to take it without a choice. If your employer can provide you with something better or you can afford better private insurance, you are free to choose it. If you have none and can't afford any, then you have to take what's offered. Sounds logical to me.

This is true, but i only semi agree with the last sentence.
the problem is the new tax we will all have to pay will pay for all the uninsured. now i don't mind helping, but when you are cutting me short and those benefitting from my tax increase see no increase themselves, then i do have an issue.
also a lot of business' cannot afford to pay for any form of health care, but if they don't they will have to pay a penalty. so we are taxing the people that are hardest hit by the economy and employ the people paying the taxes in the first place. some will be forced to cut jobs or even close down.
