The West is just gonna beat up on eachotehr all year, where as in the East 2 or 3 teams are gonna dominate.

    Toronto is 1-10 not 0-9.

The Heat just got better w/ Pat Riley. Anyone believe van Gundy's story of 'wanting to spend more time with family'?

No one believes it. Such a lie. I have no respect for organizations like the Miami Heat.

I never thought much of the Van Gundy family. Jeff is a horrible coach, both with the Knicks and now Houston. The only reason he still has a job is because he's got McGrady and Yao carrying the team. The only reason Stan had the success he had was Shaq and Wade.
Take a look at Scott Skiles of the Bulls- no superstars, but they still hang with just about every team night in and night out. Made the playoffs last year with a bunch of rookies on their squad, and will hopefully continue to get better this year.

Most difficult division in the NBA:
    Central
all teams above .500, and nearly all should make the playoffs.
The Bulls are fifth, and have a record above .500 at 12-11. If that doesn't make the East at least somewhat respectable, I dont know what does.

Agreed. The Central division is highly respectable - it's just the Atlantic and Southeast that are far less even, esp. the SE. The Central is actually even better than the Southwest in the West, which is the second most competitive division. The Southeast and the Northwest are the worst divisions, so you've got one from each conference vying for ineptitude.

The East is now better than the West...IMO

Miami,Indiana,Detroit,Jersey,Chicago,Cleveland,Phi lly,and Milwaukee are improved teams.I know Chicago is strugling right now but its only bc of chemistry issues which i think skiles will pursue to fix.
