Whats your thoughts on IP Inscriptions.

Where do you stand on asking payers for Inscriptions before games?

I'll be hitting about 25 games in Trenton this year and I've had a friend dare me to ask a few player to inscribe "Avoid the clap" as a Jimmy Dugan League of Their Own tribute.

What kind of luck do you think I'd have?

i like inscriptions of things like MVPs and all star years, etc, but ive been rather unlucky getting them. Lots of the good ones are under contract.

I'm not sure about just asking for a random one like that which has no connection to the player. If you do ask for that one if you explain it's from the movie than I bet a minor league guy or 2 might do it- they are generally still nicer guys at that level.

I apologize if this is sort of a generic response, but it really can't hurt to ask. The worst thing they could do is say no.
