Untouchable cards?? whats almost impossible to get..........
Just want to know others opinions on which cards are bordering "untouchable" status. Moneywise as well as rarity wise.
I for sure think the wcw topps biggies (rey, booker, hak, bulldog) have to be the top of the list and seriusly the Hogans from that set are not too far behind.........I reckon over $400s for sure now??
Undertaker booty auto has to be up there???
What do you guys think?? What others are joining the above crew in your opinion??

WCW Autos jump out as the obvious choice. Are they worth what they go for? no shot but the one thing about the Internet Wrestling card community is we make and break values of cards. Its kinda absurd a ref auto or a nitro girl auto can go into the 30-50's but hey thats how it is.

a card is worth what someone will pay for it. i would like to hope that maybe the faarooq knee brace card i have will join that big money list someday. the big wcw autos like booker, bulldog, and mysterio will almost certainly be sold to one particular guy who has big $$$ to spend and you know who that is. those ones will bring $1000 plus easily with mysterio on the low end and the others possibly breaking the $2000 barrier. no idea what hak is worth. i'd like to know as both you and i eachhave one but i am not about to ebay it to find out.
i do think over time the cena and hogan from heritage 1 will join the big dollar list. dont forget about the triple h access auto.
i do have somewhat of a retort for the nitro girl/refs not being worth 30-50. i also don't think that many of the cards should bring what they do. but then again why does aj lee bring 30-40? shes nothing special either really and when you compare a sticker auto to a big on-card auto there's no comparison between the quality of the overall card.

I agree completely, AJ shouldnt bring that money, same as some of those WCW Autos and this is coming from one of the biggest WCW marks there is. My point is we as the community make the prices for some of those cards and some of those prices are just humorous.

i would agree that some of the prices are high. i have definitely had to pay high prices for some in my set. but thats just the thing. they are for my set. there are many set collectors out there that are trying to piece it together and when you get a few of them needing the same cards it drives the prices way up. you never know how long it will be until the next one pops up for sale. when is the last time you saw ernest miller or chris jericho wcw autos? the last jericho was for sale about a year ago and brought just shy of $300. at the time i couldn't even fathom that for him but now there are several people who have contacted me looking specifically for him for their set and are willing to spend beyond that amount.

Unfortunately, for me, as a Hurricane collector, his All Access mask card may be in the discussion. I think the Farooq knee brace is/should be as well. It is as rare as the Hurricane.
