No need to be jealous. For a lot of this it was about being in the right place at the right time. I will try to share some others later.

Copy/Paste from the memorabilia forum:
Here's a classic example of being in the right place at the right time.
This jersey was worn by a member of the Charlotte O's during their 1980 Southern League Championship season. Cal Ripken, Jr., played for this team in AA ball. The jersey is signed by 15 members of the championship team, including Cal. Three of the guys would play in the longest game in pro baseball history the following season in AAA ball.
I had obtained the jersey with the sigs of Cal Ripken, Jr. and Jim Palmer. Later on I got to interview someone who played on the 1980 Championship team. As it turns out the team was about to have their 30th anniversary reunion and he offered to take it to the reunion to get signed.

Going to turn to the Major League side of Cal's career now. For my site I have had the pleasure of interviewing guys that spent time with Cal in the minors. As I was preparing to interview Bobby Bonner I got to thinking about the 1982 Topps Future Stars card that featured Bobby, Cal and Jeff Schneider. I thought to myself that if I could find Jeff then it might be possible to get the 1982 Topps rookie card signed by all three. I ultimately interviewed all three guys and obtained all of their signatures:
