So after getting back from the national show in Baltimore I had a couple of events planned and both of them were huge successes!!! The first was for the International League Hall of Fame induction for Cal Ripken Jr. in Rochester. I got to the stadium around 12:45 with the intention of getting the players going in and with the slight chance cal would show up early right after the luncheon. Players started showing up and I had heard rumors that Paul Molitor was there so I had my 1985 donruss card with me for my set and sure enough he showed up so I got him before the gates even opened. then once the gates opened it was a mad dash to go and stand by the dugout to try for Cal. And it paid off. My second planned event was the grand opening of Ollies in Ithaca where Goose Gossage was going to be signing, I got there at 6:45 this morning with my mom, yanks39 and another friend and between my mom and I we were able to get 4 tickets for him. So here are the results!!!!!
PJ Walters-3/3
Brandon Laird-2/2
Russell Branyan-1/1
Eduardo Escobar-4/4
Liam Hendriks-3/3
Chris Parmelee-1/1
Melky Mesa-1/1
Jim Kelly (special guest for the cal induction)-1/1 on a dollar bill
Paul Molitor-1/1 1985 donruss
Cal Ripken Jr.-4/4 (1 Rawlings Hall of Fame ball, 1 8x10, 1 1985 donruss, 1 2008 donruss threads
Goose Gossage-8/8 (4 free Ollies cards, 1 ROMLB with 1978 WS Champs, 1 Rawlings Hall of Fame ball with HOF inscription, 1 8x10 with HOF inscription, 1 1979 topps card)
So in 2 days I got 4 different hall of famers

I was doing a little organizing and sorting through my autographs today and decided to count the number of IP autographs I have gotten this year and this is what I have come up with so far:
546 cards
22 8x10's
21 ROMLB's
Those totals are not including the big # of autographs I got this year at the national. Just thought I would share, as this has been my most successful year to date (and by quite a bit, last year I only got about 140 cards signed!!!)
