Yankees games are the worst. Of all the games I have gone to I have walked away with two signatures total...dating back to 1993. One was MAckey Sasser from the MAriners. The other was Johnny Damon in 2008. I had to pay $300 a seat just to get Damon's autograph. The ushers at Yankee Stadium make it so that you can't get down there for autographs unless you have a ticket in that area. I remember when I was a kid paying $40 to sit behind home plate. Now those seats are basically empty because it is so expensive. The average fan is being pushed further and further away from sporting events and at this point I'll watch from my couch, save my money, and get my auto's TTM or at a minor league game.

I agree 100%. It's gotten to the point where for most events the benefits (autos/entertainment) don't out weigh the costs. That's why even though they aren't popular yet (hopefully soon) I graph the NLL (pro indoor lacrosse). I pay $200 for season tix in the LL and still get to fill the void and graph before and after games (with much success, too). I reccomend NLL games for anyone with a local team.

I don't go to MLB games as much anymore cause of 1. lack of successes 2. prices and 3. Baseball isn't my niche as much anymore. I do more of the college summer league baseball. $4 a pop to sit in general admission, right by where the players warm up. Get a good amount of graphs. Plus many of those kids get drafted and about 15% or so eventually land in the majors.

As for NHL, I have never even tried, except at 1 signing and TTM. NFL is doable, but LL tix are spendy so I usually just get a year's worth at the draft party and training camp (Vikings). And NBA, is nice in MN cause LL tix are real ccheap on stubhub, secerity is laid back and they let you go into the Wolves tunnel. Also the Wolves are a great signing team.

    Just my local anaylsis....

The yankees are a joke. Even in Tampa for spring training, if you don't have a ticket to the lower level you can't graph, period. Doesn't matter if it's 2 hours before first pitch they won't let you down.

The ushers at the AAA Yanks in my hometown of scranton are actually not that bad, but otherwise it's a disaster.
