    Buffalo Bison @ Pawtucket Redsox

    Buffalo Bison @ Pawtucket Redsox

Opening day last night as Pawtucket hosted Buffalo and I actually went to the game so I could see Matt Harvey pitch as he was the starter for Buffalo. He wasn't all that sharp only had command of his fastball which clocked 93-94mph consistently, his secondary pitches were spotty, he had to work out of jams in every inning he pitched, but part of that was due to poor defense from Valdespin and Quintanilla. I felt bad as he pitched in front of his family and is such a nice guy so you really want to root for him. Graphing wise the same **** from Pawtucket's returning faces, Lavarnway and Iglesias big league you but the new guys were great, helped that Bobby wasn't around pregame to initiate them. Overall pretty pleased with how I did:

    Pawtucket

    Gerald Perry 1/1
Rich Sauver 1/1..this man is crazy into the sports card/memorabilia hobby he brought out a box from his car showing off his SP Authentics rookie cert collection of Clay Buchholz he has 100 of the 199 numbered ones. And starting talking wax with people.

    Aaron Cook 8/8
    Brandon Duckworth 1/4
    Will Inman 7/7
    Clay Mortenson 4/4

Lars Anderson 1/1.wasn't going to stop him but since someone else did...

    Me: Welcome back Lars
Lars: Yea wish I could say the same
Me: How's the spread of Merlonism going?
Lars: A lot better than I am right now

Pedro Ciracio 5/5..takes this dude forever to sign his microscopic sig
Will Middlebrooks 3/4 "I ****ing hate that tristar card, I look so stupid", 1/4 8x10s...a lot of people out there postgame said he'd do 1 for everyone
    Tony Thomas 1/1
    Che Hsuan Lin 1/1
    Daniel Nava 1/1
    Nate Spears 1/1

    Buffalo Bisons

    Wally Backman 2/2, 2/2 (help)
    Matt Harvey 4/4: 2 8x10s, 2 cards, 4/4 (help), 2/2 (help)
    Garrett Olson 2/2
    Chris Schwinden 8/8

    Jeff Stevens 2/2

    Me: Jeff can you sign?
Jeff (stops walking): Who called me?
Me: I did, can you sign
Jeff: Sure, how the hell did you know who I am
    Me: Good guess
Jeff: Yea but to identify me in street clothes at night, that's impressive dude, you know your stuff

Always nice to be appreciated....of course the rest of the mob scene calls for him to sign after he was done with me

    Josh Satin 1/1
Bobby Scales 2/2: "Why would you dig these out man" referring to the 07 Pawtucket set
Adam Loewen 2/2...sig has gone to hell, not that it was good to begin with
    Kirk Nieuwenhuis 8/8
    Vinny Rottino 4/4

    Total:77

Glad to see someone had success on Opening Day! Lavarnway and Iglesias wouldn't sign?
