One of my teammates did that in the 60's twice in one season. One game he got away with it, In the other he was tossed.

He also clothes-lined a guy once while sitting on the bench. He also fought twice to 3 times a game for 7 straight years, now he's a successful Writer and a University Prof at a high profile Fine Arts University in the USA. Go figure.

I laughed to hard when I saw Clowe's poke check, it was brilliant.

It was a non-issue. I watched the game. The Sharks were penalized for illegal substitution and the players and teams moved on.

Absolutely nothing in it.

There was no penalty on the play.....which there should have been - How the refs missed it is shocking since one of them is supposed to keep an eye on the puckhandler
Amazing the league didnt do anything about it either (NHL Rules state a player can facing discipline for interference from the bench) - Wrong message to send

It was a bizarre game for sure

Both goalies gave up 5 goals each for the first time this season
Tons of PP goals - Most PP goals for kings this season and most given up this season
Doughty was in his first fight and got rocked by Thornton - Really? first fight and you pick someone taller and bigger? lol

Weird little play for sure. Amazing that 4 zebras missed that.

The switcher in the TV Truck almost missed it too. 3 Sharks bailed onto the ice including Clowe nanoseconds after Clowe's poke check with the slight of hand that they were already in the play, which they were not.
