I and the rest of the Pensacola Blue Wahoos' fans are very sad to announce that we have lost our closer Mr. Donnie Joseph (Nicknamed DoJo, DJ, DJ40, Ladies Man, and Pensacola's Mariano) as he has been called up to Triple-A Louisville. However we wish him the best, and hope to see him in a Reds jersey soon!




Also, the boys are away in Birmingham playing the Barons right now but I'm glad they are because it is raining cats and dogs here in Pensacola! Check out this photo the Wahoos posted on Facebook!

Unfortunately after 4.5 innings the Wahoos/BayBears game was called due to a massive storm that came out of nowhere, however I was able to get some autographs pre-game and I will go to tomorrow's continued game!

Jay Bell - Hitting Coach - 2/2 - Finally got to meet the hometown hero tonight! (Jay is from my area). Very nice man, took a photo with me and signed my two photos!



Turner Ward - Manager - 2/2 - Turner is best known for catching a ball during a Pirates/Dodgers game and breaking through the wall, also a 2x World Series champion. I made the photo on the left and I'm gonna' send the photo on the right to Joe Carter.


Brett Lorin - Pitcher - 1/1 - My Grandfather was down with me when I was getting autographs and Brett came over to talk to fans and my Grandfather was joking around about how he'd never gotten a ball at a Wahoos game yet and Brett went over and found a ball in the dugout and gave it to him and then my Grandfather had him sign it. My Grandfather gave it to me afterwards. Really cool! My second game used item (This ball was used during today's warmups).

Andrew Means - Outfielder - 2/2 - Despite his name Andrew is very nice (Get it? Because his name is..... Means) He actually played football at Indiana University and almost went into the NFL but chose baseball instead. (I joked with him how he's a regular Bo Jackson, he laughed!) As I said, he's a nice guy! Was talking to the kids that were asking for his autograph and said he loved my top photo I had (Him in high school). He asked where I got it and I told him how to get to it online.

Wahoos could not pull off the continued game tonight but they pulled off the second one vs. the BayBears. Also the first half of the AA Southern League season ended tonight, on to half two, good luck Wahoos!

Daniel Corcino - Pitcher - 2/1 - Yes, I said 2 of 1! For some odd reason he signed twice on the same photo but hey, I ain't complaining! Daniel recently threw the first no-hitter in Wahoos' history, forever dubbed the "Ono Hitter" (Ono is Hawaiian for Wahoo, and it's close enough to the word "no" ).
