This is the place for all discussion about the Rangers/Senators series.
vs.
An interesting matchup here - I think the Rangers are going to make relatively short work of Ottawa, but it will be a battle every night. The Sens have some very good young parts, but Lundqvist has been a monster all year and I expect him to be instrumental in shutting down the Sens.
And now, some administrative notes...
As things have occasionally gotten out of hand with the playoffs discussion threads in recent years, some rule reminders:
- All SCF Rules apply to these threads. Violations for language and personal attacks will not be tolerated.
- Staff will, at their discretion, remove any posts that are considered to be disruptive. This includes flaming, trolling, and hijacking. We will make every effort to keep these threads going for the duration of the series, but if it is found that people cannot be civil the thread will be locked and infractions will be handed out.
- Keep the comments about the game and the players on the ice.

Not much love for the Sens in this series. I think they have more than a decent chance of winning against the Rangers. I give the upper hand to the Rangers in net (and very often that is enough) but I like the Sens goal scorers and the biggest difference may be the power play.
Sens in 6

yea i love how Rangers are heavily favored, we usually struggle with the Sens and being 1-3 in the season series proves that. can't wait to see Kreider play, it'll be a good series

Rangers in 6,only because of a strong goaltending advantage, should be a good series though.

Rangers are looking pretty good here, i wonder how the sports bars here in NYC are doing? I might take a stroll downstairs to see. At the first start of the 2nd period the sens had great control of the puck, but with a little hustle here and there, Rangers continue to uphold the lead.
