Staedtler or sharpie?
Planning on going out for my final AHL autograph trip of the year. I've always wanted to get stuff signed with the Staedtler as that's what the card companies have guys sign with I believe?
I've only dabbled in it having a guy sign an UD ice(sharpie just doesn't dry in time) I'm a bit concerned of how guys will use these, maybe press down too much, because I'm sure most are used to using sharpies.
I will have both pens available, but not sure if I should bother with the Staedtler or what?

I'd just stick to sharpie.

Yeah I probably will. I just hate to see these go to waste. How often am I gonna get to use a Staedtler. But I guess could always experiment sometime.

Yeah, I gotcha. Maybe try them sometime on someone that will be a dupe? I never used them either but sharpie does a decent enough job for me. haha

Staedtler is what most of the card companies use. They are a way better marker than sharpies. Thy dry much faster, right on more surfaces and the card require no prep when using the Staedtler. I only use Staedtler on cards and have been doing so for a few years now. I just found and started using bullet tip staedtlers on photos and they are awesome

Whered you find the bullet tip ones? Is it similar to a sharpie head? I only have the fine tiped Staedtlers.

I've only been able to find the fine-tipped Staedtlers, but I do like how they hold up on glossy cards a lot more than Sharpies. So for me, if it's a glossy card, I go with the Staedtler. Non-glossy and I go with the Sharpie.

Team I go to, there cards just came out. So hopefully I can get there early enough to buy cards and prep them. Or else I may be SOL with getting them signed because who knows who will be back next year.

That's what's nice about Staedtlers...you don't have to worry about prepping the cards.

I ordered them from Japan. Got 4 with shipping it was $13. They are almost exactly the same tip as a sharpie but dry way quicker. It took about 2 weeks to get them. I can send you the guys info if you want it. Only real difference is the market itself is thicker than a regular sharpie almost like a deco size
