Is it the blue box?? If so I think I used to get them for around 40 bucks a box/pack.. a box is basically a pack.. IF I'm thinking of the right one. I pulled a quad auto with a Gallinari, and a bunch of scrubs... I bought four of them when they came out over time and was pretty unhappy with what I pulled each time... that's just me.
It looks like the price has gone way up too... IDK you may get lucky and pull something nice though.. I never did, but honestly with only Panini making basketball I would be tempted to buy another box or two of them even though I was pretty unhappy with my pulls I still prefer them to PAnini cards for some reason... hope this helps

yes just checked it is a blue box , 1 pack , 4 cards , says in bold get 2 autos in every pack , should say box only 1 pack in the box lol , and yes if they was $40 in 2009/10 they went up to $100 and are now $80 , and I am in agreement with ya on the Panini products , I want a chance for a Jordan or Lebron or Kobe even if I dont get one I figure I wont lose much even with all scrubs for the 2 autos per pack and I am getting 3 boxes
I really appreciate the imput , I so undecided it is not funny lol , but I do want to buy a couple boxes and from whats available on blowout and dacardworld , allot is sold out and I dont want any 2010/11 or 2011/12 no good rookies lol ,

Cool dude!!Definitely post up the box break... I'm thinking about grabbing a box of them now myself or maybe a box of 09-10 SP GU... the base cards from that set are the same. I think a box of the SP GU 09-10 runs about three hundred. I love that product and have had better luck with that. Again it could just be the luck of the draw, but both sets are fun to bust open!!!

I think its pricey at $80, i believe Kadamscards is right that at its low it went for around 40. There are a ton of scrubs in this product, and the bad thing is that almost all scrubs are out of /499 while the few good hits tend to have print runs under 100. And its all sticker auto, which is not a big plus if you ask me. I remember watching a lot of breaks back then from 09-10 SP Sig and it was like every two or three boxes would hold a Mike Taylor or Darnell Jackson auto to name a few.
No Blake Griffin or Tyreke Evans rookie autos, the other rookies are all in college uni's. All 09-10 UD products were rushed out because they were losing their licence, so they used 09-10 UD Basketball, 09-10 SPGU and 09-10 SP Sig to dump their stock pile of sticker autos. Especially SP Sig suffered because that became predominantly miss instead of hit. 09-10 SPGU was the best bet, because that also had the 6 and 8-way GU, tag teams etc. but also much more pricier.
Good thing is that from what i recall these products didnt hold many redemptions, so chances are good you will get all the advertised hits live in the product.
Im with you on the Panini products, and the fact that 11-12 products dont hold any rookies, but you can say pretty much the same on 09-10 UD products with the good rookies not signing for UD and the rest in college uni's.
Personally im staying away from anything before 09-10, because UD isnt even fulfilling pending redemptions, let alone will they honor expired redemptions. They have become horrible to deal with concerning redemptions since they lost their licence.
08-09 probably is the best bet for good stuff, with a nice rookie class (Rose,Westbrook,Love,E.Gordon,Mayo,Beasley,Lopez etc) and good star autos Jordan,Durant,LeBron,Kobe etc. But any redemptions would probably be expired by now. But i'm to chicken to try any of them and risk getting expired redemptions from a premium priced box.
09-10 Upper Deck Basketball might be the safest bet with 1 of 4 boxes on average being a hot box which means all 16 packs contain a hit. Does have Lebron and MJ autos and many different MJ and LeBron GU and other Legends GU, but no monster numbered hits.
I guess whatever you decide is good as long as your having fun with it!
Hope you pull something major if you decide to buy them, good luck!

I remember buying LOTS and LOTS of this stuff when the price dropped. i remember paying like 34 bucks per box.. i never got anything good.. scrubs and scrubs.. made my money back maybe 2 or 3 times..
I would stay away for this and if you are going for the set, hit ebay and buy them there.
i agree with BigAl . 09/10 UD basketball is pretty nice, busted two cases of it, got a few LB and MJ cards.. go for that product, but then again, right before they lost their lisence so theres LOTS of scrubs..

darn lol , I pulled the trigger last night and bought 3 boxes $225 lol , it is extra money and been wanting to bust a couple boxes ,
and as bigAl pointed out , those was all my fears as well , and it was the expired redemption issues and the fact that there are no SPGU available , this was the next best choice , I even looked at exquisite and NT , but for the price of 1 pack and redemptions I said no way I will just buy a nice Jordan patch auto ,
I did debate on this product 03/04 bowman signatures , 6 packs , each pack having a encased uncirculated rc auto or rc auto relic hit , and there are good base rcs and #D as well , box was $225 , though maybe get a nice lebron rc auto , but noticed the dwade rc auto relic encase and uncirculated is only $100 on ebay lol ,
