Misrepresented eBay Auction or Foolish Bidding?
I just noticed an auction on eBay for a Lemieux RC reprint. The title of the auction doesn't state that it's a reprint but the description does. The problem is that there are clearly a few foolish bidders out there who haven't read the description and as of me posting this msg, they have already bid this card up to $51.
Sorry I can't post the link as I just joined here and my post count isn't high enough, but if you search eBay for a Lemieux RC auction expiring in the next 2 hours, you'll probably see it.
Do I report this to eBay as a misrepresented item or is this just plain foolishness on the bidders' part (there are at least 3 bidding this up)?Last edited by Saytalk; 04-19-2012 at 07:31 PM. Reason: Correcting Typos

It's the bidders' fault for not reading. That said, the title really should say "reprint". My guess, winning bidder figures out their boo boo and doesn't pay.

I had a auction (in sweden) who ended up with a non-paying auction because the highest bidder forgot to read on the description and he/she
thought that he/she won all BD-movies at the picture (even if I wrote with bold style that the bidder will only bid on the one
at the left on the picture...like many others do, especially with cards/movies)
Many bidders just seems to haste with everything and don't have time to read.
I also got a very sour e-mail from an idot who ranted that I wasn't
detailed enough.... He was just so disappointed that the auction wasn't for all movies at the picture but one.....because I had a BIN at 169kronor (about $25)
and he thought that was a great deal with 5 new BD-titles just only for $25.....and $3 in shipping MOWA-ha-ha!
It's very important to read both title and description, of coure we sellers sometimes writes wrong.
Sorry for long post!
