    Hi all. I was an avid hockey card collector in the early 90's during the hockey card boom, and I even stuck with collecting when the hobby collapsed and bought some of my friends' cards when they quit. However, after compiling a cluttered stockpile of UD, Score, Pro Set and OPC cards, I got frustrated with trying to complete all of the different sets each year and gave up on collecting.

    However, about a year ago, my interest in collecting was re-energized when I saw a few cards on eBay that I had only dreamed of owning when I was younger. So I've started collecting again, but I've been a little more careful in only collecting certain sets from certain years and trying to focus on what really interests me.

    I've been reading through SCF posts for a few weeks and it's great to see an active community is still around. I hope to learn about the hobby as it has clearly changed since I previously collected and maybe even make a few trades for those harder-to-find cards.
