Surprising Ebay Sale Price
I was watching this card on ebay figuring i might put in a last minute bid, but the condition of the edges really scared me away from it. I messaged the seller if the edges were in better shape then the scanned showed but never got a response (edges must not have been in great shape after all). The corners appear to be pretty rough as well. Regardless, this card sold for a heck of a lot more than I had expected. I guess captain Kirk still has a following. I still think this had to be shilled though. Right???

Wow thats pretty insane for Hinrich, i didnt even pay as much for my Al Jefferson 1/1's.
I dont think the corners look bend or really bad, just a lot of white on the edges. But that was a major problem with 07-08 UD Black. Most of the cards had issues with whitening along the edges. 08-09 UD Black was a lot better with card conditions.
I guess being a 1/1 the buyer didnt concern much for the condition knowing there is no shot at a better conditioned one.

take another glance at it. the corners look awfully white to me, as if they continuously tried putting a massively thick card in too small of a sleeve. these days it seems as if condition is everything, and i know it's a 1/1 but, even as a collector who would have PCed that card, i would still not pay that kind of money for a card that was significantly flawed.
