Giants vs. Mets 4/20/12 IP Recap
So I went to the Giants vs Mets game on Friday, 4/20/12 and got there at around 5:30, 10 minutes after the gates opened. I went over to the Giants side, and they started taking BP at 6:00.
People started calling over Matt Cain as he was doing the long toss, and I was one of the 25-30 to get him.
Matt Cain 1/1- Signed one ROMLB under the MLB logo. I asked him to sweet spot, but he wouldn't.
Then, Angel Pagan started signing down the 3rd base side.
Angel Pagan 1/1- Signed my ticket
Then, Brandon Belt signed a bunch down the 3rd base side.
Brandon Belt 3/3- Signed 3 cards
Overall, a pretty good day. I might do the Marlins next week, not sure yet. Thanks for viewing.

Cool glad giants are great on the road. They're not here at AT&T and Oakland. Hoping they will be good at Safeco this year

Lucky. I went today and Cain was the only one who even signed.
I got Cain and Dillon Gee. There were 2 girls with tremendously large Tim Lincecum posters that looked like they took them a year to make, and he literally made them talk to the hand when they tried to call him over.

baangeles- I've heard the Giants aren't that great in general, I think I just got lucky that day. Good luck to you.
Metsmagic- Cain wasn't too friendly when I met him, but that's nice that he signed again. Lincecum's gotten mobbed so badly since he's won those 2 Cy Youngs and the world series, I think that's affected his personality a lot.

They are not a very good signing team and have not been for a few years now. When Tim broke into the league he was a great signer. Either way, congrats on Cain because depending on who you ask he is the best pitcher on that staff right now.

Thanks man. It seems that teams get a lot worse after they win the World Series, in terms of signing.
