Most of the older players will, but younger players are being advised not to sign them...I've talked to a few Minor Leaguers about it and they say they've been told not to sign blank items. But most former players are more than willing to oblige.

in person i missed manny machado in spring because he wouldn't sign it.

TTM jim otto, yogi berra, and a few others ive sent to refused to sign blanks. Otto even wrote me a note on it saying he doesn't sign index (he initialed the note but didn't sign it lol).

Joe Morgan and Lynn Swan are two HOF members who actually sign more index than anything.

I've also heard this quite a few times.

I heard even a pitching coach for Trenton wouldn't sign blanks but would sign anything else you would put in front of him..

1B Coach of the Padres Dave Roberts wouldn't sign index cards as he told me he's been burned on them before. Micah Owings told me he would initial them.
