    Ever Try This?

I know this is kind of a pointless thread, but have any of you ever wrote underneath the return address on your SASE the initials of the player you wrote to so you can see who it is before you even open up the envelope? I don't think the post office would care or think anything of it, would they? I know that usually you want to be surprised, but I just put (M.C.) on my Miguel Cabrera SASE, and (A.A.) on my Alex Avila SASE.

I write the last name on the rear of the SASE.

Yeah I had that idea a while ago when I got back an autograph on an index and I had no idea who it was.
So every request on the SASE I put the players initials and the date sent. So that gives me to items I can look back in my log on either the name or when I sent it to figure who it is.
I still have a few that I am not sure who they are, guess they'll just be mystery sigs. But since adding the info on the back I have had no issues.

I track all my TTMs on an Excel spreadsheet. I place the row # for the corresponding request on the back of the SASE. I started after I had a ball come back in my SASE unsigned. I dont need it often but when I do I am very happy to be able to pinpoint who it was.
