Another ebay Deadbeat to Avoid
Long story short, I was offered a bunch of Crosby cards in two separate deals. The condition of all the cards were good as was the cash/trade - otherwise I wouldn't have made the deal. Recently sold a card on ebay, to what turned out to be, a real winner (I have better phrases but with the way that I've racked-up infraction points on this site, I'd prefer to save my last ones for a special occasion).
Anyways, sent the card via Express Post, the kind soul received it and proceeded to leave me negative feedback. Apparently, the card was damaged and the autograph also had marks on it - a "dot or period" between the "S" and Crosby. Of course, this kind person never even bothered to e-mail me to complain - just went straight to negative feedback.
Once upon a time, a negative actually bothered me (went 7-years without one at one point) but today - blah. With all of the stupid people out there, it's next to impossible to remain perfect.
After speaking with a couple of other ebayers, it seems as though this is the norm for this great guy - he likes to leave people negative feedback. My one buddy had told me that a bunch of them had planned on bidding on several of his auctions and then, they were all going to leave him negatives. Nice thought.
As it stands today, this beautiful creature of god, currently has a Crosby lot for sale. Big surprise, the Crosby autograph that he purchased from me (the so-called damaged one), is part of that lot. Unfortunately, he forgot to write in the description, that the card is badly damaged and has extra marks around the autograph. Must just have forgotten?
Anyways, below is the link to his auction. If you're real hard-up for cash, then let the guy bid on your auctions. If not, block this awesome person and save yourself a free negative.

Well not to defend him but did the card had thoose flaws before you sent it? Did it show on scan or if he missed it then its a bit harsh just leaving negative, he could just claim to send it back and ask for money return instead.

Thanks for the heads up as well. I only had to take one look at his feedback to see what a complete tool he is. Ended up on my blocked list as well.

Well by his justification, all of the autos are damaged because they all feature an extra "dot" in the them. Crosby dots his "I." Some times it gets lost in the "S," some times it's out in the open.

Glad somebody pointed that out, 'cause I would think it would be kinda hard to call a dot above where an "i" should be a flaw. Ridiculous.
I collect: Kurri, '70s Kelloggs, Topps/OPC hockey /90 and earlier, selected '90s hockey insert sets, '70s football, and baseball with focus on Dynasty A's and completing sets.

How do you see the feedback he has left? And 300 for shipping is a ridiculous price as well. I wish he had more stuff up I'd be buying and leaving negs for him.
