    JSAs Credibility

I thought JSA were highly credible until I saw this

    eBay item number 180855431334

Clearly a Gretzky autopen and they authenticated it as real. Shouldn't they know better?? I feel like sending them an email and asking about it.

I have one hand-signed right in front of my 13 year-old eyes at the time, a 80/81 O-Pee-Chee Giant card. Looks like crap. I just can't bear to part with the machine signed one............

I don't know much about JSA, but is the certificate even attached to the card?

Maybe it's an issue like with the recent OPC buybacks where the certificate is completely seperate from the actual autographed card and the seller has just placed a different certificate next to it.

There Cert does not belong to the Card. I just check it up on JSA website. it belongs to the following:

    Certificate Number: G63590
    Signer: Larry Robinson
    Description: American Gum Card

The seller knows its not authentic he's trying to cash in hate guys like this.

Guy has a huge feedback rating too, he must have bought it and just resold. I sent him a message to let him know.

He's got a few of those JSA 'authenticated cards' on auction...his Jagr at least matches another Jagr card but not correct one though!

Yikes his Mario Lemieux Auto is supposed to be a

    Certificate Number: G63588
    Signer: Denis Potvin
    Description: American Gum Card

Take this as a lesson for anyone if there is a cert # check with the company that did the authentication to see if its the right item you are buying. James Spence I believe has a cert # also affixed to the item that matches the certificate card just like PSA does.
