05' Sp Authentic or 05' Contenders?
I am saving up to buy a 12 box case of football cards later this month. My question is should I buy Sp authentic or should I wait and get the Playoff Contenders? What do you think would yield the best break, value wise?
For the last couple of yers both products have had some very nice cards in them.

Id have to go with Authentics. Less no name rookie autos, and there auto patches are awesome!

SPA has a better hit or miss quality though
Contenders always seems to have the SP Rc autos and the guys who come out of nowhere that other products dont have
plus i think SPA will set you back more, no?

Single Box-Contenders
Case-SP Authentic
Since you are getting a case you have to go SP Authentic as Upper Deck is a company that always is better by the case than by the box.

I would vote for SP Authentic as well. Especially early on because the price always seems to spike right at release or within a week or two. Pre-Sell is the only way to buy SPA Cases. Contenders is a great product, no question but the auto patches from SPA are the best in the biz IMHO.

All I got to say is.. Contact Berrianfan on his opinions in buying SPA as a case.. He bought two 04 cases and I think he got one Rivers and maybe one Jones boy.
Golds were like 1 per case I believe and they were nobody special at all.

Definitely SP, even though some of the cards are a little bit easier to get their popularity drives demand and value up
