Panini America Peeks Fireworks Insert in 2011-12 Past & Present Basketball

And one of the coolest inclusions in the product is actually one of the hottest: The 20-card Fireworks insert.

You've got to be kidding me, who at panini thought this name and design went together. When I read fireworks I was expecting to see fireworks like the kind you see on the 4th. Isn't that what most people equate fireworks with, the kind in the sky. I'm not necessarily saying I have a problem with the design, but you would expect some common sense to come into the process at some point.

The name aside, I am actually liking the design/concept. Would be even better if they can a) fix that ugly "past & present" logo (even put it on the back of the card or make it a nicer looking logo.) and b) if they make the flames embossed.

I don't know about this one. I like flames on my hot rods, but I'm not too sure I'm gonna like them on my basketball cards.
