What makes you scratch your head besides dandruff :)

    1) When a patched auto card goes for a higher price then what you could have purchased the complete autographed official jersey for.

    2) When a card goes for $10 but because the same card has a gold border, or just says gold, the exact looking card goes for $100.

    3) Sticker autos in high-end products, wonder how many wives-girlfriends-mothers sign these ?

    What makes you scratch ?

#1 all day long for me. There is a card out there that I want for my collection but the owner (as is his right) wants an amount that is equal to nearly two complete game-used jerseys of one of the players on it.

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

The fact that Doornbusch and Campanale both have rookie cards when they are MIA and signed on tryout contracts.

Definitely 1 and 2. And an extra scratch when 2 involves jersey cards when the non-gold has a nicer swatch than the gold.

The fact that I paid 170 for a card that isn't autographed or doesn't have a piece of jersey on it because someone put a stamp on it saying 1/1 when I bought the same card not numbered for 2.00 shipped

But I love collecting and that's the beauty of it! I don't hate it just makes myself wonder.

just getting back into collecting and i refuse to look at any sticker autos as "real" cards. just too cheesy IMO. maybe on multi-player cards.

oh and single colour jersey cards.

we are the market and i'm not sure why there hasn't been a revolt on these terrible "hits."

    Stickered autos. Hate them.

Especially when the auto goes 'off' the sticker.
