I have never been near him to get an auto but I have heard stories of him being a complete jerk.

I already knew LeBron doesn't like to sign, but that doesn't make 'LeBron being LeBron'. It just means he's like most high profile athletes who won't sign unless there is a camera on them.
For example, Justin Verlander hates signing, but he's still my favorite athlete. I do believe players should sign for fans, because it comes with the territory, but I don't blame them when they don't sign because they get asked every day by tons of fans, and it has to be annoying.

The Miami Heat last year conducted their pre seaosn camp here on Eglin AFB, FL where I am stationed. There were a couple of days that they practiced in front of the military members and made osme nice media days. The last day that they were going to be here, they spread all the players throughout different locations. I took my son and daughter to were LBJ, Wade, Bosh, Morning where located and LBJ was a complete jerk to the little kids. No smiling, signing and taking pics with an attitude. The rest of the guys were awesome.
