Way to go eBay!
Way to train sellers!
I won a card on 4/8, paid the morning after on 4/9 and it was marked as shipped on 4/10 (you know, within 48 hours so that as a buyer you can't leave anything less than 5 stars for speed of delivery or at least you won't be able to soon...).
Got a message from him today, 4/30... 'Sorry, but I never shipped your item. It will go out tomorrow. Thanks for understanding.'
News flash... I don't understand. I often forget to mark sales as shipped because I don't mark them as shipped UNTIL I SHIP THEM. Hope he is just as understanding when I file the 'item not received' in two weeks so that I don't miss the 45-day window...
Thanks for listening to the vent...

That's a rather unfortunate gaffe on his part. I know that when you print off the shipping labels it will automatically mark the item as shipped on your Summary page. That may have been what happened here and the envelope just got lost in the shuffle. Stuff happens.
I can't really complain too much about the Bay this week, it's been very good to me. :)
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

The thing i cant stand is when people get bent out of shape about the card not arriving "when they think it should". I just sold a card on ebay, and shipped it out the next day after i received payment, i shipped it regular mail due to it being a 0.99 cent card. Anyways, 2 weeks go by get an email saying he hasnt received the card, i told him to wait another week and ill send out a full refund if it doesnt come. What do you know i get positive feedback the next day, because he received it BUT he gave me a 1 star for shipping time. How is that my fault?

It sucks that it is the only place to sell right now. With some organization and good monitoring a site could easily host a hockey card selling section. I know this one does, but it is a very broad area it covers.....

We are working on a storefront. The CC storefront version is now fully functional with auction and over 330 cards listing for CC. The real dollars store is next to come when I am done developping it. It will cover buy it, make offers and auction style as well. In April we had over 60 sale for CC. Once we have the full storefront open, we will have a alternative.Last edited by CoolHandLuke; 05-02-2012 at 04:30 PM.
