Post your best pack pulls ever

I haven't opened a lot of packs going on over 10 years now.

I opened lots of stuff back in 1997-2000.

With much money put into the mix my best pulls were a Barry Sanders 1998 Fleer Brilliants 24 K Gold parallel #/99 (I believe) & a 1998 MJx "Gold" base parallel (#/23) of Michael Jordan. At the time those cards were very top of the line & thought of as truly special pulls.

Prior to this in 1998-99 SP Authentic basketball came out & was scorching hot. I pulled the Vince Carter SP Authentic rookie # 0001/3500. He was the highest valued rookie at the time while grading cards was still kind of in infancy. It was the first one made which also was a thing really starting to gain greater in interest. I think the card had a slight corner ding. I sold it for around $600 raw and then saw the buyer had it replaced by Upper Deck with a hand written serial number & also graded PSA 10 GEM MINT. I found it on eBay as being sold for $5,000 & in seeing this I didn't know for sure if any money had actually exchanged hands. I was kind of in awe & a little discusted by the outcome of how the card grew in value so quick.

I know we will all have some good stories to share.

    Tell us your unforgettable memories.

    This card:

1999 UD Hologrfx Ken Griffey Jr. UD Authentics autograph. I bought a few packs that were marked at $1 on clearance at the beginning of 2000 and I managed to pull this one. I love the design and it's just such a nice clean signature. It got me motivated to put together the Hologrfx set, which eventually led to me completing the entire master set. Link to the master set for anyone interested in how the cards look: http://s279.photobucket.com/albums/k...0master%20set/

I've probably pulled some other stuff that might currently be higher than the griffey as far as BV goes, but this is definitely my favorite pull.

I pulled this out of a Topps Prime retail rack pack that I was given as a Christmas gift this past year.

    This:

Pulled from my LCS out of 2 packs, didn't even want to buy basketball but was about to leave and said "Give me 2 packs of SP Authentic".

Opened them there and seen the Jordan auto and flipped out.

Will never get rid of this card unless I absolutly need money.

I don't open a lot of packs, but I did pull a Bryce Harper auto out of 2011 Platinum. From a rack pack from Wally World. Haha.
