Annoyed at Canada Post

So, 2 weeks ago, a guy finally paid for the Hossa Dual Patches I had after it being unpaid for twice. Tried to ship it regular mail at Canada Post, but the employer refused to ship it out at regular postage, saying it was overseas and overweight so it was $15 (the price for registered.) I went in for the past week and a half trying to get it shipped for the right price but couldn't. I ended up asking the guy if he wanted a full refund on it, but he really wanted the card. Ended up driving an hour to the next nearest Canada Post today and got it shipped at the right price. Due to the crazy post office lady, I refunded the shipping costs for the guy on Ebay. Anyone have similar issues?

Never, let me ask this though, was the card packed out in a typical way? Bubble mailer, standard size? Where was it going?

The smallest bubble Mailer you can find, standard size, weight, etc. it was going to Finland

Should've costed $4.50 for standard shipping to Finland. I've learned when you confront a Canada Post employee you sometimes just need to tell them what you want, don't take their advice. But that comes with experience and I don't know how much of that you have shipping international. I've had them say some pretty ridiculous things in my time, but yours by far takes the cake.

An example I still experience on a daily basis is shipping standard single card bubble mailers to the USA. Sometimes they tell me all I need is $1.29 postage for this, but I've had so many return to me with a sticker stating "need more postage". I almost have to argue and be very stern with Canada Post and insist that I want $2.10 postage for these items, it sometimes becomes an argument.

Yeah I know, I've argued many times with the one employee there that works 95% of the time. She once charged $40 for something that was really $20. Don't think they know lol
