We, as collectors in the hobby, need to rally around fun type products a little more often.

    Agreed!!

Based on what I'm looking at here (http://www.dacardworld.com/sports-ca...ckey-hobby-box), $25-30 is highly unlikely. Maybe after the intial release and people realize there's no GU...

Looks great. They are putting out a competitor for Score. Hopefully it will be in the same 25-30 dollar price range.

I don't think there will ever be a product that releases for $30.

Victory & Score were both $30 or under per box

Really? I'm tried to remember the price I bought my box of Score for, I know it was more than $30.

Even still, I think OPC looks a lot better than either Victory or Score. And there's some cool sets to try and put together in it.

With Victory gone, Score should be the only $1 a pack, $30 box out there.

OPC right now is at $59 a box pre-order

I am disappointed to hear that OPC will be twice as much as Score. I bought my box of Score for $30 last year, and I was hoping to be able to buy 2012-13 OPC for the same price since it is now more low end and supposedly replacing Victory.

even at $1.60 a pack for OPC it is still a good value. I enjoy it more than Score and victory. The retro's the past years have saved this brand.

    So wait??

"These Team Logo Patches will be tough pulls, only 1 in 96 packs. The set is comprised of 100 cards with varying subsets such as Cartoon, Ceremonial, Expansion Era, and Pre-WWII. Some patches will be more rare than others which adds more fun to the hunt."

Are these going to be like the OPC Premier manufactured patches? and take the place of GU?

mixed emotions about that... maybe a fun set to go for... but too high of a price point to bust wax
    maybe fun to trade for...

Did you bust any Goodwin Champions? It will be similar to the Animal Kingdom patches I think. They were a HUGE hit that product so I think Upper Deck is trying to see if it will be successful in a hockey product. If there anything like the Animal Kingdom patches, they will sell much better than a single color GU card.
