Thanks for the info!!! I took a 15 year hiatus from collecting, and am starting fresh. I have been buying like a madman for the past 2 weeks. Mostly new stuff out of the box, however I have bought some nice sets. I bought 2 1998 UD football sets for 35.00 each, and 1 1999 Fleer Ultra set for 25.00 from a local card shop that I worked for when I was growing up. I put a 1981 topps complete set in layaway for 150.00 and it is in great shape. The owner of the store will negotiate on anything as it is a parttime thing for him. he has a lot of old basketball and baseball including a lot of 1950 stuff. I sometimes wonder if he makes money, but I think he does well because locals bring in their entire collections, and he buys them for pennies on the dollar!!!
